The group conducts world leading research in ensemble forecasting, including:
- Weather and seasonal climate
- River flow, floods and drought
- Water availability and demand
The group also has strong research capability in:
- Water resources systems analysis and river operations
- Water and energy
- Irrigation
- Statistical modelling and uncertainty analysis
Facilities
The group owns three high performance computers and have access to and use extensively supercomputing facilities, including the National Computational Infrastructure.
