Engineering management research contributes to the launch of ARC NetZero Hub

Researchers from the Engineering Management discipline, Department of Infrastructure Engineering, The University of Melbourne, were pleased to participate in the official launch of the ARC NetZero Hub, led by Professor Wenhui Duan and hosted by Monash Engineering. The formal ceremony brought together representatives from the Australian Research Council (ARC), Monash University leadership, and participants from multiple institutions and industry partners, marking an important milestone in advancing collaborative net zero research and innovation.

The launch also featured a two day workshop titled “Grand Challenges in Infrastructure”, chaired by Professor Lihai Zhang (also the Strategic Director of ARC NetZero Hub), with contributions from leading researchers across Australia and international institutions.

From the Engineering Management discipline, we are contributing the research project “Digital enabled enterprise resource planning for smart and sustainable infrastructure management”, led by Professor Lihai Zhang and jointly delivered with Dr Shuangmin Shi, industry partner AIBUILD, and PhD student Sachintha Theja.
