Dr Nghia Tran (2026)

Nghia Tran

With a 10-year experience in cement and concrete research, Nghia Tran has established a solid knowledge as a material scientist in the field of geopolymer and cement chemistry, aiming to mitigate the environmental impact of the construction and building industry. His research looks to enhance the long-term sustainability and engineering properties of low-carbon concrete via the multi-scale approach ranging from nano, micro, and meso to macro scale. He has an outstanding record of research excellence on sustainable construction and building materials. Prevalent achievements to this proposal are evidenced herein, which demonstrate his capacity for translation and industry impact of sustainable materials, his strong capabilities to conduct high-quality research and capacity for research innovation.
