Engineering Education

Engineering Education is a research area dedicated to advancing teaching and learning through evidence-based innovation and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). Our Education Specialists investigate how students learn engineering. They develop effective pedagogical approaches using both qualitative and quantitative methods. This work addresses emerging challenges such as digital and blended learning, teaching with generative AI, and evolving student expectations.

The team is actively engaged in international conferences, journals, and collaborative research, contributing to global best practice while securing competitive funding to support educational innovation. A key strength is the integration of research with real teaching contexts, ensuring immediate impact on student outcomes and curriculum quality.
